for Monday, please read Chapter 4, "Exploration," in Karl T. Ulrich, his Design : Creation of Artifacts in Society (2005-11).
I've left a stack of copies on the Seminar room table — it includes both chapter 3 and 4, but at this point, only chapter 4 is necessary.
