Between you and I

Mixing digital and traditional methods I will portray the most influential person in my life by cataloging our relationship.

My work thus far has been very commercial, approaching my senior year I’ve begun to open up my design to be more personal. For my senior year I want my work to take on a very personal concept, my dad. He was diagnosed with brain cancer when I was graduating high school and it has been a slow downhill process from there.

This work will not be about the facts or the situation at all. I will be cataloging my relationship with my dad. It will be executed through the use of both traditional hand done pieces and contemporary digital methods. As of now this would include carved wooden posters, collections displayed as sculpture and include something that will be surrounding a user experience theme.

This concept and execution will challenge my ability to both meet the spectrum of the traditional and digital art world.
